Our Zachary went to live in heaven due to a complication called a placental abruption. It happens when the placenta tears away from the uterus. There is no known cause for this, but there are contributing factors such as high blood pressure and folic acid deficiencies. Our beautiful baby boy was so perfect. He weighed 1 lb 8.4 oz and was 12 1/4 inches long. I had him by natural delivery and his daddy and I were able to spend as much time with him as we wanted thanks to the wonderful hospital staff. I had an angel of a nurse who without I would never have made it. Thank you Donna from the bottom of our hearts. You will truly be blessed in heaven for the love and kindness that you have shown to us and so many others. We were able to fill a photo album with precious pictures that we cherish. My heart aches everyday but I know that my darling is in heaven with his Grandma Pat, sitting in the softest rocking chair that heaven has to offer. Someday I will get the chance to once again kiss his precious face and hold both my baby boys in my arms. He also has there with him (we believe) a brother we named Tristin, lost in an early miscarriage at 6 1/2 weeks. The Lord has blessed us with 2 beautiful daughters since that time and God has been so good to us. For anyone who may be going through an abruption, prenatal complications, or the death of a child... please feel free to email me. I'd be glad to share the information that I have found in my search for answers. If detected early and treated properly an abruption does not have to end the life of another precious child. |
